But there is also plenty to do and experience on IJburg itself. There are several restaurants, a few cafes, there is a harbor and the popular beach Blijburg is your spot in the summer months. For daily shopping you can walk to the IJburg Shopping Center around the corner. That saves time!
You can exercise and relax in your ‘own’ Diemerpark around the corner. Joggers and runners can really lose their energy here. The largest lap is about five kilometers. It is perfectly possible to pull sprints or skate on the large cycle path. There is a tennis club on Rieteiland-Oost with a few beautiful clay courts on the water. You can easily cycle there.
